Orbit System Overview

Features:

  •  Spline based Orbits
  •  Moons for each Orbit (Moons for Moons are also possible)
  •  Orbit speeds are depending on the Distance to the central Mass
  • Elliptical Orbits have correct relative speeds (become faster, the closer they are, to the central Mass)
  • Ability to set the amount of rotations (days) an Actor has per Orbit (year)
  • Orbits can be rotated along all 3 axes
  • Actors can be rotated along all 3 axes
  • Orbit is represented by several Methods (simple Plane, high poly and lower poly meshes following the spline of the orbit)
  • Individual Scaling of the Orbit, Actors and Orbit-Speed
  • Calculate orbit positions in the future (in construction)
